Had a late lunch at my favorite bakery, then to library to read newspapers, and ended up Early Voting for city council/judges. There was no line at all.
Had the second Intraocular Lens Implant yesterday. Post-op happens today. Anticipating excellent results.
We went to a matinee showing of the Downton Abbey movie. The young wife just finished binge watching all six seasons of the show. She sometimes had difficulty understanding the servants, so I was occasionally called in to translate. Otherwise, I avoided it. I understand it was very popular, but I just could not see the allure.
DW informed me that she does not want me to do any more painting anywhere in the house for at least the next two weeks. She says it is disruptive to her routine.

Results excellent!A life-changing experience for sure. Hope you love it as much as I do.

Once we had it on my dolly, we headed the 25 miles to the only close shop in the area that can service this old baby. Once we got started, the sky opened up and we had about 2" of rain. Ugh!

We are in SoCal and subject to those power outages due to high winds.
Monday we bought a generator and got it assembled, running and hooked to our freezer, fridge, and ice maker[...]
