We're streaming the final season of Doc Martin (#10) on Acorn. It's managed to keep the quality of the show even after ten seasons, unlike so many other series. I'll hate to see it end.
Started "Quantum Leap" 2022 version. Deleted it after 2 episodes. Terrible acting and sad plots. Yawn.

We loved Catastrophe.
^ those two are the only shows DH and I have bailed on in recent years. Handmaids was great the first season, pretty good the 2nd. But we probably sunk-cost watching by the time season 5 started.
When I told DH there was a 6, we decided to bail.
I finished the walking dead series finale. I’ve been a zombie fan since I was 6 and just loved this show but it was really hit or miss the last few years.
I’m not sure about the supposed spin off shows. I’ll wait to see if they actually happen.
I’m going to try Fear the Walking Dead and see if that’s any good. Didn’t have time to watch it when I was working.
Finished season 5 of the Handmaids Tale last night. Thought this season was pretty good. Kept my interest.
Season 6 will be the last season for that show. It will be interesting to see how they wrap up the storyline. I obviously did not read the book.
I'm struggling with 1899. Does it get better after Ep 2?
BTW, normally I'm not an anti-dubbing bigot. I watch dubs. But I think this show should be watched with subtitles. Many languages are spoken, which is part of the story and adds to the unease.
I've been watching English, the western on Prime. It's good but very violent. It seems that everybody out West from sod-busters to hired guns knows how to kill people and does so.
Yes, I have subtitles on. We just finished episode 4, still confused but hopeful. Like I said, I was totally confused in Dark up until the end when it all made sense.
Right after reading these comments about the difficulty some were having watching 1899, I saw this article in CNET that says you MUST watch it with the English Sub-titles for it to make sense.

I may give it a try now.
We just finished 1883, the Yellowstone origin story, on Paramount+ last night. Good series... looking forward to 1923 in mid December.
Very frustrating that Yellowstone season 5 isn't available on either Paramount+ or on Peacock. I could by the season from Comcast Xfinity but I'm not going to pay $36 for it... I watch it later.
I'm going to wait until Yellowstone is no longer a "gotcha" series. The seasons are all over the place. Some charging per episode. When it all comes together in one streaming channel, that's when I'll start season 1 episode 1.
