A grocery store in Edmonton, Alberta is leading the way in coronavirus pandemic innovation by implementing a special early morning "Golden Shopping Hour" that will be exclusive to seniors, those with mobility concerns, and those who are most vulnerable to the coronavirus.
ABC News reporter Kris Reyes came across the promotion by Belmont Sobey's and praised it on Twitter saying:
"This is such a simple yet brilliant move by a grocery store in Edmonton ... I am truly hopeful for the creative solutions and innovation that will come out of this crisis, keeping those truly in need, in mind."
I am so sorry that your mother and your uncle are being affected by this situation as you describe! I will be hoping for the best for them and for all of your family.
Thank you for posting that. The math gets downright scary.
You have to scare people enough so that they will self-isolate.
How do you do that without being accused of fear-mongering?
Shame on that bank security guard. He should have given her a bottle or two. In a bank?My bank employee friend told me of a little old lady who cashed a check, then pumped her hand full of hand sanitizer then went out to her car, where she filled up her bottle in the car. She then came back into the bank and deposited the cash, refilling her hand and going back to the car. She did it twice before a bank security official stopped her.
