I enjoyed seeing everyone's pictures in Kahn's 'Recent Pictures' thread, and there have been several threads about places to live, I thought I would see if we could get one going showing our homes. This is ours in Texas. Front, back and view from the deck.

It took three tries, but I got them to show. They were in a non-public directory.

I see nothing....

Here is my home which I love because it is just right for me. :)

(Edited to add: I updated the photo and removed my complaint about Rustic23's photos, now that I can see them.)

I don't have a house anymore. Converted it into soon to be worthless euro's. ;)

Current house and rental place we're fixing up. We bought the rental when were first married in the 70s. Bought a bigger, fancier place 'cause we could and rented the old homestead out for the past 12 years.

Current plan is to move into the little place and fix this place up and sell one or the other. DH has his heart in the little place. We call it "the farm" because it has a little over 2 acres of land. While I love the space of this place, I have to agree the farm has that special something.

Here's where we are - the first pic is the inside of the front door before we got started.

The front after the storm in February, and the view out the back porch.

here's where I lived while working.

I downsized into the second house so that I could retire early. Who wants to work for the man !

City House:

River House:

The river house is nicer but it is our source of emergency funds. If one has to go we will stay in the city.

Well, just so that folks don't get the mistaken idea that everyone on this board is rich, and to continue the exhibitionism, here is our aerie on the alley...

Apologies for the rather harsh light, but it is Texas after all.
